Recently, Jeremy Cowart announced a new and important creative project on Scott Kelby’s blog. The project is called Help Portrait.
Help Portrait is a movement of photographers and other creatives who are using their time, equipment, and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this holiday season.
Jeremy created a great video that explains the project in more detail:
St. Louis area creatives, please join me in giving back & creating an amazing custom portrait for some very deserving, very special people this holiday season.
We need photographers to shoot portraits, makeup artists and hair stylists to help our subjects shine, designers to create album layouts, and anyone who would like to donate their time assisting, coordinating, bringing food and drinks, etc. You can also help by spreading the word about Help Portrait… Please forward the Help Portrait website to anyone you think might be interested in participating in or publicizing the project.
The goal of this project is not to focus on what the recipients don’t have, but to create a gorgeous portrait that reveals just how beautiful and amazing and strong they are. To build friendships and connections. To give our talents and ourselves completely.
If you are interested in working with me on this event in the St. Louis metro area please leave a comment below or send me an email via my contact form.
Thanks for reading,
